About Malana

Writer.
Practitioner.

My writing follows my personal experiences, research, interests, questions + point of view. My practitioner work helps women see the whole picture, understand what deserves attention + know what to do next.

Malana Hokulani

Testimony first

I came to this work after rebuilding my own life.

After repressed trauma and abuse. Divorce. Estrangement. Addiction recovery. Spiritual upheaval. Physical pain. A new name. A new home in Hawaiʻi.

I didn’t learn everything I know about rebuilding a life from a certification. I’ve lived it, too.

Before practitioner work

I worked in online business, strategy, operations, projects + launches.

I assessed complicated situations, found bottlenecks, determined priorities, sequenced work + turned ideas into execution.

That strategic way of thinking is still part of how I work.

Training + practice

My work is practical + intuitive.

I’m a dual-certified HMI Wellness® Master Practitioner, trained as a Quantum Mind-Body Therapist® + Functional Nutrition Therapist™.

Whole-person training

My training includes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual + energetic dimensions.

Practitioner tools

Depending on what’s relevant, I may use hypnosis, subconscious + story work, emotional processes, energy healing practices, body awareness, nutrition + lifestyle support, coaching or strategy.

Intuitive awareness

I notice patterns, what you’re telling me, what keeps coming up, what seems connected + what I’m picking up intuitively or energetically.

No fixed formula

I don’t run everyone through the same process or use every tool with every person.

How I work

I can tell you what I see. I don’t decide what’s true for you.

I can ask questions, reflect patterns + help you look at something differently. Intuition and energetic awareness can inform what I notice, but they don’t establish objective facts or replace your own judgment.

My services are educational and wellness-based. They aren’t psychotherapy, medical care, crisis support or a substitute for licensed professional care.

Start with what you know

You can bring one question or take a minute to notice what’s asking for attention.
